- Bunesti is the administative centre for the Viscri area.
- Cooperation with Bunesti Mayor and Town Halls continues. The Town Hall is now discussing with us buildings at risk, and providing salvaged building materials from Town Hall-owned buildings which MET agrees are beyond saving.
- Cooperation with Ministry of Culture. The Bucharest Ministry has acted on our photographic reports of abusive building in protected villages. This will help strengthen the resolve of the Town Hall.
Trust work 2007 - 2008
In the Saxon Lutheran church consolidation work, roof repairs and major repairs to the ring wall and clerestory have been completed. Two houses - no 34 and 67 have been repaired and painted.
Trust work 2006
Houses no 50 has completed major repair and paint work on the courtyard and facade.
Consolidation and rebuilding the damaged parts of the fortification wall has been undertaken on the Saxon Lutheran church.
Trust work 2005
Repair and paint work on houses no 208, 66 and 34 was completed. Work, started in 2004 on the collapsed tower of the Lutheran church, continued.
